A Virtual Author Visit on the Most Popular Day of the Year

Every year, dozens of schools ask me if I can visit on World Book Day.  As it's such a popular day I usually find that I'm booked far in advance and have to turn down so many schools who simply must have an author on that day and only that day!

Starting in 2024, I will be launching an online author visit concept which will allow all those schools to get a piece of me on World Book Day itself.  Wherever they are in the world!

On Thursday the 7th of March, 2024 I will be basing myself in a small TV studio with a crew of technical folk.  I will perform FOUR live shows over the course of the day.  Each session will be just like the ones I do when I actually visit a school and will be aimed at different age groups.  It will cost your school just £150 for the zoom link that allows you to tune in with as many individual classes as you like.  Between the live sessions, my team will play specially pre-filmed videos in which I chat to other authors; my illustrators deliver drawing workshops; and answer all your questions.

Each class teacher can choose which of the extras they would like to tune in for.

Here is the timetable for the day.  Each class tunes in for its appropriate session. If you'd like to be involved please contact me by email and I'll book you in.
