I am very excited to announce that a new Boyface book will be coming into the world in 2026.  Many years ago, four of my Boyface books were published but are sadly now out of print.

So I have written a new one which is a kind of reboot of all four of the originals.  And it's much better!  Again the illustrations are by the lovely Mark Weighton.

The new book will be called simply Boyface.

If you're not familiar with my Boyface books don't worry - I have recorded the new book as videos to listen to.  They will be soon be on my youtube channel:

Not only that but I have also written the whole thing as a play for one, very talented performer and a shed load of puppets to perform.  West End producer Denise Silvey will be producing the show which will tour around various festivals, schools and theatres in 2027 and beyond.

Even more excitingly, the theatre show will involve lots of pre-created video and your child might want to be involved in this.

In the summer holidays of 2026, we will be hosting a Boyface summer school at a venue in or near Colchester.  There are spaces for 30 children to come along and sing, dance, act and generally have lots fun whilst filming the video sequences for the new production.
